Loven vil sikre et helhetlig vern mot diskriminering p\u00e5 grunn av etnisitet og religion p\u00e5 alle samfunnsomr\u00e5der. Odelstinget har denne uka ogs\u00e5 gitt tilslutning til regjeringens forslag om et nytt Likestillings- og diskrimineringsombud, som skal sikre at diskrimineringsloven blir fulgt.
