IMER-RELATED PHD FELLOWSHIP IN COMPARATIVE POLITICS, UNIVERSITY OF BERGEN

At the Department of Comparative Politics, University of Bergen, a funded PhD position is vacant. The total scholarship period is 4 years, 25% of which shall be dedicated to teaching, supervision and administrative tasks at the Department. The PhD will be part of the research environment at the Department of Comparative Politics and is also expected to be part of, and contribute to the multidisciplinary IMER Bergen network (www.org.uib.no/imer) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, UiB and Uni Rokkansenteret.

THREE PHD POSITIONS WITHIN THE ESRC WHITE ROSE NETWORK
Applications are invited for three fully funded doctoral studentships, within an ESRC-funded research network involving Sheffield, Leeds, and York Universities (which comprise the White Rose Doctoral Training Centre). The network, entitled Reshaping Multiculturalism through Cultural Practices, will investigate the ways in which multiculturalism – as a set of ideas and ideals, practices and policies – is being reshaped by those who are most affected by it: cultural minorities.
